About Tony’s

San Diego’s most diverse neighborhood, Ocean Beach, is home of one of S.D’s oldest bars, Tony’s.  It’s been around so long nobody really knows who Tony was or why the best drinking establishment in town was named after him.  Ask any local where to go for the best pour in town and they can point the way to Tony’s.  Once inside you will be greeted by bartenders who care about their craft.  Hand muddled drinks are often made with expertise and speed.  Absinthe (now legal in the US) is served French Style for only $10.00.

On the weekends they have Miller High Life & PBR for only $2.00.  During the week there are specials from beers for $2.75 to Johnny Blue for as little as $18.00, or $22.00 for a long pour on the rocks. You will find plenty of Obceans as well as date night couples having a dessert martini. 

Tony’s has an extensive cocktail menu, a tasteful inexpensive winelist, a wide variety of draft and bottled beer, as well as happy hour everyday from 5:00 to 7:00 that includes Half Price Pitchers of beer.  There is 2 Pool Tables, A Smoking Area, Internet Juke Box, and Intimate Booths, all just a half block from the beach.  All day Wednesday and all Happy Hours Martinis start at $4.50.  Tony’s is a friendly bar, a place to meet people if you’re new in town.
